In the previous post you read about amarja sangam and the greatness of eight other holy places.Shri guru and his disciples went to amarja and 8 other holy places for bath.You also read how amarja sangam was created.Once Jallundhar Rakshasa were on War. In the previous post you read, at the time of diwali seven disciples came and invited shri guru on diwali.Shri guru said how could i come to your places at the same time.They started quarreling and shri resolved their problem by calling each one of them one by one and saying i'll come to your place but don't disclose this to anyone.People of gangapur said please don't go away from gangapur on diwali.Shri guru assured them, i'll be here only.Shri then took 8 forms and went to each place.Later devotees gathered on guru poornima and each one of them told that shri guru was at their home and showed the clothes given by shri guru.They all were amazed by this experience and their faith in shri guru became more firm.To read the previous post in detail, Click the details below:

In the previous post you read how a brahmin, who was a devotee of kalleshwar become a disciple of shri guru.People asked him to compose poems in praise of shri guru but he declined saying he  wont compose poems in praise of a human being.He then went to temple of kalleshwar and while worshipping, he had a nap and he got a dream in which he had seen shiva linga and shri guru.Shri guru said, You don't believe in human being then why are you worshipping me.He repented for under estimating shri guru and thus became devotee of shri guru.To read the previous post in detail, Click the links below:

In the previous post you read about a brahmin named nandi who was suffering from leprosy.He worshipped goddess with full devotion and observed fast.One day he had a dream in which goddess told him go to shri guru in gangapur.He thought there is no need to go to a human being.Then the temple priest also got a dream and told him, do not trouble goddess.If you will come, we won't allow you to enter temple.He then went to gangapur.Shri guru told him what he doubted i.e how a human being can cure him.He was then blessed by shri guru and his leprosy was cured.He, an illiterate brahmin then became a poet, after shri guru placed little ash on his tongue.He praised shri guru with his poems.To read the previous posts in detail, Click the links below:

Happy Baba's day Readers!!!!!Enjoy today's post with brief description of yesterday's post in which you read about tantuk,one of the guru's devotees.His family was going to shri shailya but he rejected saying his shailya is in guru's feet.So he served guru devotedly.Shri asked him, do you want to see shri shailya and told him to close his eyes.They reached shri shailya when he opened his eyes.He asked the importance of visiting holy place like shri shailya.Shri guru explained it through an instance..His parents was amazed to see him.Shri guru again asked him to close his eyes and they were back by the time he opened his eyes.He told people that he were in shri shailya and just returned back.People said you were in the morning, how could you be back in few hours.He narrated the whole story.Hearing this, people were amazed.To read the previous post in detail,Click the links below:

In the previous post you read the importance of anant vrat.Shri krishna told the importance of this vrat to yudhistir and same was explained by shri guru to sayamdeo.Shri Guru told this Sayamdeo and asked him to let his eldest son Nagnath to do Anant Puja. Sayamdeo did as advised, arranged grand samardhana and dined with Shri Guru. Sayamdeo then returned to his place, kept the family there and he alone returned to Shri Guru to serve him. SHRI GURUCHARITRA-Chapter 41

One get's fruit as per one's faith, this is rightly expressed in the previous post.Till now you read, how leprosy of a brahmin was cured.Shri guru gave a dry log to a brahmin and asked him to plant it near gangapur and water it thrice a day.He did it as per instructions.Shri guru also said whenever this log will bear green  foliage, your sins will be wiped off.Seeing his devotion shri guru came to the brahmin and sprinkled holy water on the wood and green foliage appeared on the log.Hence he was relieved from the disease and was blessed.To read the previous post in detail, Click the links below:

In the previous post you read, a poor brahmin named bhaskar wanted to do samaradhna(feeding of brahmins) but he was not having enough money, still he kept on gathering rice.Brahmins made fun of him.They said We cant have a single particle from this much rice.One day shri called bhaskar and asked him to do samaradhna.He brought vegetables.Shri guru asked him to invite all brahmins.He told shri guru, they will make fun of me.Please ask your disciple to invite them.Shri guru then asked bhaskar to cover the food with the cloth and feed all.Even after feeding more than 4000 brahmins, the food was still left.Shri guru asked him to throw it in river, so that all the creatures can have it.To read the previous post in detail, Click the links below:

SHRI GURUCHARITRA-Chapter 31

 

In the previous post you read,a brahmin   gopinath lived at mahur.His issues didn't survive.After sometime,He got a son.They married him at the age of 17.The Youth fell ill and developed consumption.His wife served him devotedly.The wife requested her father in law and mother in law to send her to gangapur where Shri guru narsinha Saraswati was living.His parents bid them goodbye with heavy heart.When she reached gangapur, her husband died.She wept bitterly.People tried to console her.But all in vain.In the meanwhile, a saint came and advised her saying, everyone gets the fruits of his action.Life is like a dream, so don't mourn.Now read the next post.To read the previous posts in detail,Click the links below:

SHRI GURUCHARITRA-Chapter 30

Om Sai Ram Readers, In the previous post you read, the power of bhasma(holy ash).Trivikram asked shri guru how chandala(demon) got knowledge.Shri guru said he got knowledge because i sprinkled bhasma on chandala.One who applies bhasma gets the knowledge of a brahmin.Shri guru then narrated a story of Mahayogi named vamadeva(who was none other than god dattareya).He used to apply bhasma to his body.Once a demon came to eat him.As the demon held vamadeva, some bhasma from his body gets rubbed onto his body.His sins were washed away.He then bowed to vamadeva and said i am enlightened with your contact, i met you due to my good deeds in previous birth.Vamadeva then gave him bhasma purified with shiva mantra.Demon applied bhasma on his body and his body was converted into heavenly body.Guru's power is beyond our imagination and no mantra is successful unless it is blessed by a Guru. In the previous post you read, Shri guru told harijan about his past life.He said one gets birth as per one's good or bad actions.He also told one who commit sins like stealing money offered to god,enjoying with other's wife,leaving parents,etc  become a chandal(demon).Shri guru told trivikram, these sins can be wiped off by good deeds like donating, fasting,visiting holy places,etc.Shri Guru told the Harijan, `You were a brahmin but you disregarded your parents and therefore, you have become a chandal. In the previous post you read, Shri guru described various sections of vedas.He said knowing only some part of vedas, how could you say that you know all the vedas.Brahmins were highly respected in the past due to the knowledge of vedas.In kalyug, they started giving up vedic path and started selling vedas.As a result, many parts are lost.Shri guru said you know four Vedas, but do you know the end of any Veda? OM SAI RAM!!In the previous post you read, There was a cruel muslim king.He used to call brahmins, asked them to recite vedas and give them some money.He said, if Brahmins kill animals in sacrifices, then why should they blame us for killing animals?One day two brahmins came to the king and said if you have learned brahmins in your city, call them we will discuss vedas with them.No one came forward to discuss.After that they visited all places of country and then they came to kumasi and called trivikram bharti for discussion.Trivikram bharti declined and said let us go to shri guru at gangapur.

SHRI GURUCHARITRA-Chapter 25

In the previous post you read, a person named trivikram bharti lived in a village kumasi.He was a staunch devotee of shri narhari.He criticized shri guru saying "Such kind of high living does not become a Sanyasi.Shri Guru asked Gramadhipati to arrange for going to Kumasi.Shri guru was seated in a palkhi and a grand procession started towards Kumasi.Trivikram was worshipping narhari in his mind but he could not see shri narhari in meditation.He saw all sanyasis(saints).He was amazed and fell in the feet of shri guru.He praised shri guru saying you are an incarnation of god.Shri guru appeaed before him in his original form.He said I could not recognize you due to my ignorance.Please pardon me and wipe off my ignorance.Shri guru blessed him saying you will have parmartha.You will not have any birth hereafter.To read previous posts in detail, Click the links below:

In the previous post you read, Brahmin's barren buffalo began to gave milk with guru's blessings.When he told this miracle to everyone, all were surprised.Hearing this, Gramadhipati and his wife went to sangam to see shri guru.They bowed to him and asked his intention of coming to gangapur.The officer said with folded hands, "Instead of living in the jungle, Swami should establish a math and live in the town and guide us in spiritual life from time to time. In the previous post you read, on old barren she buffalo gives milk.Shri guru lived at sangam and he used to go to gangapur for alms.Once he went to a brahmin for food.Brahmin had a old buffalo and they used the buffalo for bearing load.When shri guru came to brahmin, He was out for bringing corns.His wife bowed shri guru and told him to wait until his husband returns.At this Shri guru said you have a buffalo, Why don't you give me milk.Brahmin's wife told she(buffalo) is barren by birth.Hearing this shri guru said you are lying.Go and bring milk.Brahmin's wife went and  began to milk her.When two pots-full of milk were obtained, she was surprised and believed that he was not an ordinary sanyasi, but was n incarnation of god.She boiled milk and offered to shri guru.When brahmin returned, she narrated the whole story.Both then went to shri guru and bowed before him.To read previous posts,Click the links below:

In the previous post you read,a brahamni(Brahmin's wife) was living at shirol.She had no children.Although she got issues but all died.Some brahmins told her that you borrowed money from a brahmin in previous birth.He asked you to pay the money many times and at last he committed suicide.His spirit doesn't allow you to have issues.At this brahmani asked brahmin, Please suggest a means to relieve from spirit trouble.He suggested her to go near krishna and perform rituals as well as to worship audumbar and shri guru.Brahmin's spirit came in his dream and began to thrash her.Shri guru protected her and blessed the spirit and brahmani too.Shri guru blessed her and said you will have daughters and sons.She got two sons.  Happy Thursday Readers!!!In the previous post you read, a poor brahmin got wealth with guru's blessings.Whenever he didn't get sufficient corn,he lived on boiled sem.Once he invited shri guru for alms.Shri guru blessed him saying that your poverty will be wiped off.While leaving his premise,Shri guru cut the stem of sem creeper.Seeing this the brahmin's wife wept bitterly saying our means of livelihood is lost.Brahmin consoled him saying, there must be some good of Guru.Brahmin took away the leaves and while digging he found a vessel full of coins.Brahmin and his wife felt really happy and they went to shri guru for worshipping him.To read the previous posts, Click the links below:

In the previous post,you read a brahmin was very well known for his knowledge in vedas and shastras.He got a son who was dull and foolish.Local people commented him, your father was a learned man but you are foolish,your life is worthless.At this he became upset and went to forest.He thought of  giving up his life and he cut his tongue and placed before goddess and prayed if  you dont be kind with me, i shall offer you my head.That night goddess came in his dream and asked him to go to Guru who was sitting under audumber tree.She told him guru will fulfill all your desires.He rolled  at guru's feet and was blessed to attain knowledge.The moral is one who touches guru's feet will acquire all knowledge.To read previous posts, Click the links below:
