SHRI GURUCHARITRA-Chapter 42

In the previous post you read, namadharak asked shri guru, how did my forefathers served you.Shri guru told about namadharak's grand father's father sayamdeo.He served shri guru with great devotion.Shri  guru enquired about his family.He wanted to stay with guru and serve him.Shri guru said, I keep on changing my places.Sometimes i live in a town or  in forest other time.Its difficult to live in forest, its better you stay here.But sayamdeo decision was firm.One day they went to sangam and shri guru sat below ashawatta tree.Soon there was a great storm and rain, Shri guru asked him to bring wood for fire.He lit the fire and then shri guru told a tale of pure devotion to guru.Shri then asked him to bring his family to gangapur.Then he brought his family to gangapur.Shri  guru asked sayamdeo to do anant puja and have anant fast.To read previous posts in detail,Click the links below:
