In the previous post you read about amarja sangam and the greatness of eight other holy places.Shri guru and his disciples went to amarja and 8 other holy places for bath.You also read how amarja sangam was created.Once Jallundhar Rakshasa were on War. Indra went to Shri Shankar and said, 'We kill Rakshasa but from each drop of their blood, new Rakshasa are born and they have spread in Three Lokas.'They have killed many Gods.Indra went to shiv shankar and lord shiva gave him nectar.The drops of nectar fell on earth and hence amarja river was created.Shri guru also told the importance of bathing in other holy rivers.To read the previous posts in detail, Click the links below:
